    Mollie is an incredible teacher. Her classes are definitely challenging but she always offers modifications and a non judgmental space to make it your own practice. I appreciate how she never fails to give breathing cues with every movement - the most basic pillar of yoga that most teachers nowadays forget.     Scott’s classes are always challenging. He always brings a new mix into the class that pushes me to my limits. I wouldn’t recommend his class if it’s your first time at Barry’s. With that said, if you’re looking to mix up your workout, and are generally really active, it’s worth trying his class to really challenge yourself. Worth every credit.

    Great workout, but I can understand why there's a handful of people who dislike it amongst the many overwhelmingly positive reviews. If I weren't already familiar with certain exercises and already doing some of these at home from time to time (albeit without the weights), I would have felt lost even though everything was explained and demonstrated well. I would say this is not for absolute beginners. I don't consider myself an expert by any means either, so as long as you're already stretching regularly and otherwise exercising in some way, I think you can push through. I see some people say no pointers are given, but Sharon provided plenty of pointers to various people throughout the class. The intensity lasted the stated 50 minutes and was followed by a mini-yoga session (10 min). I enjoyed it all and definitely want to return. If I don't, it'll simply be because it's a little far for me. The drive felt like commuting to and from work.

    Liza is great! The pace of the class was just right, and she explained everything very clearly. The studio space is on the smaller side, but the small class size allowed Liza to pay attention to and engage with all of us individually, which I really liked. Even though this studio is in a shared building, parking was very easy, and there are bathrooms available in the hallway next to the studio (locked, but they have the keys).

    HE is incredible. I’ve going to CP for about 8-9 years now - as y’all know, CP is just so corporate and it gets worse and worse each year. They rly want to pack as many ppl in classes as possible without a cap and they will hire WHOEVER gets past the training. It’s hard to come by a great sculpt teaching and he is IT. Thank you for being on beat with your counting, choosing music that we want to sculpt to and curating your own workout all while staying true to the “yoga” part of everything. He goes above and beyond with his mantras and sayings, which encourages and hypes the class up! That’s how you teach a class. Had been very tired of coming and trying out classes that led to disappointment from instructors who clearly did not care or just didn’t have the personality to teach. Thank you sir for your confidence, knowledge, encouragement, resilience — when you have a gift and purpose.no one can take that away from you. It’s so clear how much this guy loves his craft. 🔥🔥🔥
