see all reviewsThe instructors are great and know how to work with a variety of experiences. I had planned on going on a regular basis until the owner had one of the instructors tell me to purchase a full membership because they only allow a maximum of two classes via classpass. I found this off putting and won’t be back. However, if you’re new to judo and want to try it out, the instructors Yurii and Sana were very welcoming and I would recommend them.

see all reviewsSusie is very knowledgeable. I signed up for this class not knowing what to expect. I practice pilates/yoga regularly, but wanted to try something new. Susie’s vocal cues are great. I liked that she demonstrated moves, the logic behind each sequence, i.e. we fall this way so we can defend ourselves by kicking back then turning to stabilize. I enjoyed this type of training. I think it’s helpful for everybody. There was 3 of us in class; 2 woman and 1 man. One was returning. Super excited for their new home studio! What to expect..breathing techniques, self defense moves in tune with your body’s natural movements, practicing w other classmates, a warm up and cool down workout sequence (addressing each part of the body (not quite like yoga)).
