Rumble Boxing - NY
see all reviewsJill is a really great instructor! The class is physically challenging but it isn’t too challenging to learn the boxing moves. I like the mixture of boxing with other aerobic and anaerobic exercise. My only complaint is the space is kind of cramped by the benches side of the room, I felt like the studio could be set up better for working out in a group and as a just 5’8” person i felt like i was bumping into things. All in all, it’s a really great idea for a workout class, it’s perfect for a full body workout and it’s fun and easy to learn and to follow.

see all reviewsGood class. Nice teacher with good instruction. Can be as hard or easy as you like based on how much effort you want to put into hitting the bag. Facility was clean as well. Also if you already own boxing wraps/gloves you can use them vs. rent or buy the lighter muy thai ones.

see all reviewsGreat cardio and kickboxing class. Class stared off with an intense 10 min of straight body weight cardio and shadow boxing (jump squats, burpees, lunges, jumping jacks, mountain climbers etc). Then class was split in half. Half doing standard circuits (dumbbell renegade rows, box jumps and tricep dips, treadmill, rope pulls, med ball slams) whole the other half of class did different bag work combination stations- one station being with the instructor. Class ended with sit ups and dumbbell shadow boxing/lifts/curls.

see all reviewsThe gym is very clean and welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Freddy, the instructor, is an excellent teacher and ensures that you receive a great workout while also learning proper boxing technique. I’ve been to most of the boxing gyms in the city, Fox Boxing Gym is definitely the best.

see all reviewsThis is a no-frills studio in a basement that is unlike other boxing gyms. There is no street signage for the studio so it was a bit hard to find. We started with a cardio intensive workout involving 5 rounds of stair running, then drills up and down the hallway before starting on the actual boxing. They provide wraps and gloves for free. Would highly recommend.

see all reviewsI absolutely LOVED this class! It's one of my favorite workout classes I've ever taken. It combined elements of toning/cardio/dance/ barre and never got boring. It was challenging but Jessica always kept an eye out for form and she is so sweet. I can't wait to take this class again!
