    Full Body - Lower Focus (60 Minutes)

    I was visiting NYC so I’ve never visited this location or taken a class with Casey before. But it was one of the best Barry’s classes I’ve ever taken. Casey’s instructions were very clear and demonstrated each move/exercise. The treadmill workouts were challenging. The floor exercises were lower body focused but we also had some upper body exercises in the mix as well. I highly recommend Casey’s classes to anyone who likes Barry’s Bootcamp.

    New to this studio. Top floor is the hit / bounce studio. Bounce is a trampoline choreographed class with intermittent weights, pushup, abs section. It takes a little time to get used to bouncing but even if you don’t get every move ur still working out. My calves were burning I think if you are into step classes the concept is similar except on a trampoline.

    Love this class but wish the instructor didn't end it early! This is the second time she has done that. The warm up is ten min, the workout itself is only 24 min (8 circuits, each 40 seconds, 20 seconds of rest/transition for 3 rounds) leaving plenty of time for a finisher! Instead classes ended with a ten min stretch which is unnecessarily long.

    I have a love hate relationship with this class. Its crazy how hard this class is. There was a power section and strength section. The power section didnt feel like much but the strength section was insane. The exercises (TRX and pike ups with gliders) looked easy but to do them properly with full range of motion and in a controlled way is absolutely killer. Core is the hardest muscle group to work. If you pride yourself on lifting heavy or running fast, this will be a humbling experience because theres almost no weight and its very slow paced. Im going to incorporate this class into my training more even though I hate it. I kinda wish there was an easier version of this so that I could work up to it because I felt like I couldnt even stabilize in some of the exercises so I did very little reps. Maybe next time Ill get better.

    This class is a grueling, effective workout built on basics. I havent worked out hard in a long time and decided to take this class to challenge myself. And oh what a challenge it was. Lee is great. She gave me modifications for an injury and also for when things got tough. I would not necessarily recommend this class for beginners or for those who are out of shape.     I thought this workout was great! Since its a new gym I was the only one in class and therefore got a personal training session which is awesome. Tony was also a really good trainer. He was encouraging and really focused on form to make sure all exercises were done properly. I havent done a workout like this before that was all resistant bands working on a lot of core and balance but I loved it.
