    Reiki Tuneup + Guided Meditation

This Saturday class is held in the Nave and it’s a bit like the restorative breathwork class where its actually very quiet and individual. I know I was a bit intimidated and wound up going in, but the instructor was so calming. She explained the process and the intentions, guiding us into a relaxed state. There’s vibrational music and incense. Everybody’s got their blanket and bolsters (mats are also provided if you need them). If you’re working through stuff and get emotional or really aware with your body’s misalignment, that’s normal. If you get so relaxed you’re like floating into a sleep state or stasis, that’s ok. The idea is to work out your blockages and feed back into yourself/energy. It’s a safe place by design.

The studio is both cozy and neat. I enjoy the instructor’s music selection, their balance of deep and funny comments and the deep stretches I get in class. I feel like my mind also stretches during class.

Very sweet beginners class. Instructor was conscientious of form and different pose variations. For more intermediate folks, this is more of a gentle yoga with space for mindfulness and slowing down.

    Yoglates Beat

Took my first class and really enjoyed it! The space was clean and welcoming. Katie is a great instructor and offered a few modifications for each exercise so you could challenge yourself at any fitness level. The heat was nice- not Bikram level hot, just enough to get the muscles nice n warm. My only wish was that the playlist was a little more bangin for a class called "Beat" :)
