Lauren is a great instructor. She has a vast understanding of the body and how it stores emotion and how stretching is so good for the soul. She makes yoga into a deep stretch and brings a lot of connection to the moment. I always want her classes to last an extra hour because I just feel so good during her class. I recommend this class for all levels but if you’re a beginner this would be an excellent class for you as well because there’s not a lot of advance transitions and the flow is very easy to keep up with. Lauren is very intuitive about her students and Creates her class for who’s there on each day. But if you’re into advance yoga do not skip out on this class either it will bring you the places you’ve never been before with deep stretches.

Michele did a great job of working with someone who was a first timer and leading the class for the rest of us. I think that Pure Barre is generally the hardest of the barre classes Ive attended (Barre3, Romney, Dailey Method, BarreWorks, Bar Method- some of these dont exist in New Orleans). A beginner could definitely attend this class but I wouldnt be deterred if youre not able to get everything the first time. I think part of what makes Pure Barre so challenging is that the class moves pretty quickly.
