see all reviewsLauren is a great instructor. She has a vast understanding of the body and how it stores emotion and how stretching is so good for the soul. She makes yoga into a deep stretch and brings a lot of connection to the moment. I always want her classes to last an extra hour because I just feel so good during her class. I recommend this class for all levels but if you’re a beginner this would be an excellent class for you as well because there’s not a lot of advance transitions and the flow is very easy to keep up with. Lauren is very intuitive about her students and Creates her class for who’s there on each day. But if you’re into advance yoga do not skip out on this class either it will bring you the places you’ve never been before with deep stretches.

see all reviewsMichele did a great job of working with someone who was a first timer and leading the class for the rest of us. I think that Pure Barre is generally the hardest of the barre classes Ive attended (Barre3, Romney, Dailey Method, BarreWorks, Bar Method- some of these dont exist in New Orleans). A beginner could definitely attend this class but I wouldnt be deterred if youre not able to get everything the first time. I think part of what makes Pure Barre so challenging is that the class moves pretty quickly.

see all reviewsWhen I showed up at the gym and contacted Snap Fitness staff (number listed here), they couldn’t provide a code for the lock box (where the key card to the gym was kept for ClassPassers). I had to wait until one of the managers of this specific Snap location showed up in person. She did show fairly quickly. And offered me a free pass for the next day for the inconvenience which was very nice. My only concern is that the said manager texted to my phone number the next day which she obtained, I assume, from the person who answered the provided Snap Fitness number here on ClassPass. I didn’t give her my personal number and haven’t consented to being contacted directly. In addition to this, the gym has a couple of machines out of order, including both bikes. Second room of the gym seemingly had no AC, only a small fan in one place. You can still workout fine here, but these details were a bit annoying.
