see all reviewsCrazy fun, and a killer cardio workout. I was pretty spent at the halfway mark, but just kept following Doug's #1 rule of having fun. Though the class goes at high intensity for the full hour, you can always take it down a notch or just walk in place for awhile. It's pretty impossible not to immediately love Doug--he's incredibly welcoming, endlessly energetic, and full of hugs to share. Bring a towel and lots of water!

see all reviewsMusic definitely adds. Good heat, nice flow, great addition to my day. Wouldn’t recommend for beginners—there was very little to no instruction the first half of class, but was great for those who are familiar with a flow style class. And I personally really dislike the Sun A sequence in this class—the pacing feels crazy frantic—but I might be the only one as everyone else seemed to be keeping pace. But once we got through Sun A, the rest of the class flowed slow and steady.

see all reviewsBre is a great instructor. I've only been to a couple hot yoga classes before so her extra instruction to optimize form and discipline is much appreciated. It's a great workout, I was more exhausted than after a yoga sculpt class!!

Tara said it was totally fine and made class so special for me with lots of adjustments and a peaceful atmosphere I could really unwind in. I would recommend this studio and Flow 2 classes. see all reviewsI was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this class. Chris creates a very mindful practice, connected to breath and intention. The 40-minute asana portion was more difficult than expected, mostly because of the strength needed to hold each posture. And 20-ish minutes for more stillness and meditative practice was a lovely way to start the day. I'll be back.

see all reviewsVery friendly studio. During the exercise everyone chats and is social so if you like to workout while socializing this is a good spot for you. The instructor is super nice and was very helpful to me as a newcomer, explaining all the moves. I don’t do a lot of Pilates so it was enjoyable to do something new. Note: this is not cardiovascular or a class where you’ll break a big sweat so it’s great if you have somewhere to go after.

see all reviewsBeautiful, heart-centered flow. This is hands down one of my favorite yoga classes I've taken in the last 10 years. The space itself is beautiful (of course, its at the Hewing!), it is a cozy brick-walled studio in the downstairs area of the hotel. Aromatherapy was perfect for this class, I also appreciated working with the gems at the beginning of class, which is pretty new to me. Susan the instructor was wonderful, she gave us new students a helpful overview of the class and made us all feel welcome and comfortable to interact with the gems and the flow in a way that felt authentic to us. I will certainly be back for another class soon!

see all reviewsThe class was canceled without any notification, but they let me use the studio for the hour and gave me a free class card. Kind of annoying, but they handled it well and made the best of a bad situation. I think they’re still working out the kinks of ClassPass and a new (much improved!!) location, so I’ll cut ‘em some slack. ???? I look forward to coming to this unique studio again in the future!!
