    Pilates RTM Core Mix

    Very friendly studio. During the exercise everyone chats and is social so if you like to workout while socializing this is a good spot for you. The instructor is super nice and was very helpful to me as a newcomer, explaining all the moves. I don’t do a lot of Pilates so it was enjoyable to do something new. Note: this is not cardiovascular or a class where you’ll break a big sweat so it’s great if you have somewhere to go after.

    I’m generally intimidated by free weights and the “gym culture,” but this was very welcoming and accessible. Got a good strength-based workout and also learned a lot—the intention is for you to learn how to safely and confidently do this on your own. Staff were super welcoming and friendly, as well.

    Awesome session! If you’re like me and don’t know what you’re doing at the gym, yet enjoy the sense of community you get through workout classes, I highly recommend Uptown Fitness. My session was focused on strength training and my heart rate was up the entire time. I was told that every session is different, which is nice for a beginner like me to learn how to properly use various types of workout equipment. Andy was amazing to work with and took the time to correct my form and explain what he had me doing. These workouts are very personalized as they are limited to 4 people per session. It was motivating for me to be working out with others while still getting the individual attention I needed.
