    HARD-YOGA-BURN

Ozzy was a very engaging teacher and led thru a good pace flow, it was hard and refreshing. decent sweat. recommend for people who have taken yoga before and want a nice core and leg workout. not many people in class so she corrected and deepened poses for you as needed

    Signature II

What a surprisingly phenomenal class by Rachel! I’ve seen coming to P57 for close to 6 years now + as of recent, it’s been tough finding instructors who provide incredibly challenging + intense classes in the likes of Chad, Sarah H, Erin B + Jenn W, but Rachel met the mark + I’ll most definitely be seeking her out again. She gave us a non-stop workout with well-rounded, thought out + thorough sections, plus I love how she split up our core work by including a different section throughout class (flat back after arms, round back with the band after our first set of glutes, then c curve at end of the hr), instead of lumped together at the end. I totally got a great sweat in too, which is always a testament of a solid class for me as an athlete when it comes to barre.

    Exhale Barre

Alex is one of the best. He remembers names of his regulars; is attentive during class, constantly correcting form; wastes no time during class (ie quick transitions / no annoying downtime or drawn out stretching = more work done in the hour); always gives us a ton of movement variety (we did 5 different thigh positions and 3 sets of glutes, 2 standing / 1 floor); provides a longer weighted arm series than other instructors; multiple + innovative core sets using the barre, band + ball, and most importantly, challenges the muscles + definitely makes sure that we get a burn! I will say though that I was disgusted at how filthy the studio was today - hair all over the floor and clinging to my barre socks. But class was awesome.

The Body : 360 by FLEUR MAXWELL

Loved Fleur’s class! She’s a former Olympic figure skater and was very hands-on – Constantly correcting people’s form & checking in on how students are feeling. The class was abs- and booty-focused, and my glutes were on fire at the end of each exercise. Can’t wait to go back!

Wow!!! Love the new studio - clean, modern, friendly and just a welcoming, relaxing, beautiful space. The class was phenomenal. I’m in decent shape and I found the class challenging. Instructor was encouraging and went around correcting form. I would go back in a heartbeat!

    Pure Reform (50 Mins)

The best! A Challenging, non-stop, full body, low impact, but high intensity workout that tests your balance, coordination, strength + muscle endurance in a completely different way from strength training / lifting. It’s pretty much a mega former class, but without the machine, using bungees + gliders instead. Caroline always puts in so much thought into her profiles to continually keep them interesting, creative + burn worthy. There’s nothing better than an instructor who truly loves what she does, wants to give her students a 5 star show week after week + who’s genuinely interested in demanding more from attendees.

Amazing as always. Christy always progresses into the more advanced poses through the class and every progression gets students closer to achieving better form or a new asana. Her classes are a true delight. Recommended for any beginning yogi and yogis trying to get deeper into their practice

    BDC Fit: Pilates Mat

Great especially for beginners! I’ve been doing classical may pretty regularly for about six months but jumped into a class doesn’t really deconstruct each exercise as you go. I know the classical sequence now, but this class was a great opportunity for thinking about the smaller range of exercises that Julia focused on, and learning the transitions that I usually fumble through in my regular class.

Ended up being a 1-on-1! Danielle is amazing - it's a fusion of barre and Pilates (I suspect because I told her I didn't enjoy yoga as much so she modified for me). She was friendly and encouraging, and I had a great workout! Will definitely be back!!
