Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

Really nice studio. Felt clean and well run. I LOVED that I didn’t have to bring a mat or be charged for one. I liked that there was no technology in the studios, though there were definitely lots of people taking photos in the lobby. The complementary teas were a great touch. Instructor was good. And I really appreciate how there were no mirrors or music playing, allowed me to really focus on the practice.

    Bhakti Flow

Probably the best yoga class I’ve ever attended! And I’ve been to a lot. The vibe of this studio is real, and the instructor beyond amazing. Not much ventilation inside, so prepare to sweat!

This was SO nice. A very gentle but challenging Pilates class. There were only 3 of us but it felt right because the room wasn’t all that big and it was dimly lit anyways. This instructor was really clear on her instructions and gave adjustments as needed. This would be a great workout to focus on breathing and strength. And the space is incredible— a luxurious workout, if there ever was one.

Sub teacher tonight- class was 6 stations-2 exercises at each, doing each exercise at the station twice (45 seconds on 15 seconds break) followed by a transition workout (planks, skaters, squat jumps) to the next station. Music wasn’t great and no warm up or cool down but it was a great and effective workout.
