Well this is weird. I loved it! I am generally not the biggest fan of spinning though I do occasionally find a studio or instructor that gives me a glimpse into what everyone else is so jazzed about and I guess this is one of those for me. Chris was so friendly and had great energy- lead an invigorating class. The studio is clean and chic. Cassidy at the front desk was also very welcoming.

Great class-Chelsea was awesome. Her hands on assists were amazing. This class is very similar to Bikram in style and hear of class (maybe a little less hot) but with different poses and some down dogs. Overall a nice stretch and a good sweat.

My muscles had been feeling tight and tense the last week. This stretch was much needed. Bonus that the music was so calming I could’ve easily fallen asleep. I appreciate the 90-min length for this yin class too. It sounded lengthy at first, but the time flew by as we moved from pose to pose. Rob was encouraging and maintained good energy throughout the entire class. Would def go again

    Rise & Shine

This was my first time at this studio for yoga. I love the vibe of the place: very low-key, very Venice (locals) and a nice contrast to some of the more competitive and flashy studios in the area. Lauren is the star instructor here for good reason. Not only is she gorgeous and possessed of a lovely voice, she is exactingly well trained and "the real thing." The class was nice and full but everyone had enough room and I detected zero "Get out of my spot!" attitude here. Space is modest but clean and well equipped. My one constructive criticism is that the studio was very moist and stuffy when we went in and during class. There was a venting system in the ceiling but it was not used between classes. Only a ceiling fan, which just moves the hot air around. I will absolutely return for another class. Nice!

It was a great class! I haven't done bikram yoga in many many years and I'm not flexible or athletic at all! But I think the class really is for all levels and the instructor helped me adjust my postures. It was pretty overwhelming at times with that heat but I made sure to listen to my body and keep at my own pace and drank lots of water. Bring your mat, towels, and water. I forgot my towel and had to pay $3 for it. Plenty of parking and you enter from the back alley which was a bit hard to find as a first time client! Be prepared to sweat a lot and stay hydrated!!

Really lovely instructor. For people new to this studio, I will say that their classes are all pretty easy if you are used to regular vinyasa flow classes. I enjoy the slower more intentional pace, but it may not be the sweat-dripping yoga you're looking for. Also, they do a bunch of weird wrist flips in all of their classes. Again, it's an interesting variation, but might be annoying to some.

    Strength + Core

Teacher was engaged and accommodating for injuries, all exercises were thoroughly explained. Clean small gym. My only small complaint would be I prefer working at stations with a partner, it just keeps me a bit more motivated to push harder. This class had one person at each station because the class was small. My favorite thing about the gym is the outdoor shower haha!

    YogaWorks 1-2

I have been using this app to take junky yoga classes for the last few months. You know, not very experienced teachers, complicated flows with no alignment cues, 60 minute format. What a difference to take a class at YogaWorks! Brigitte is the best! A fantastic class that made me feel great in mind and body. I will make this one a habit.

    Sweet Sweat

This class was so wonderful!!! Its kept a bit hot, so the sweat part is inevitable, but the class wasnt too intense, and more of just a wonderful upbeat flow. Russel played great music- a mix of Janet Jackson, some current music, and great yoga-sounding wind-down tunes. Ill definitely be back! This class was such a wonderful surprise and I cant wait for the next one!
