see all reviewsI honestly felt anxious to book this class, reading about the intense first timer instructions, but I am so glad I went for it! I arrived 15-20 minutes early, and the blonde gal at the front desk couldn’t have been more nice or welcoming. You sign a couple waivers, she shows you the equipment you will borrow/rent (only needed for Butt/legs day), and gives you a tour. It was good I was there early bc it feels a little intense at first. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the workout which was not terribly complicated to follow. It’s about 7 minutes “on the floor” doing weighted exercises and then 7 minutes on the stair stepper. Then you switch back and forth over the course of 50 minutes. The instructor was excellent! She guided everyone through it all, gave some individual help, and demoed a lot of moves too. Music is loud but I loved the hip hop and 2000’s jams. It felt good, was fun, and I will for sure be back!

I’d say the class itself was a mix of vinyasa flows with a song of cardio moves (similar to what you might do during a cardio section of a CorePower Yoga Sculpt class). Parking is tricky, but neighborhoods and side streets should be okay (1 hour parking). I live in the valley but if I’m ever over the hill I’d definitely sign up again

She was personable, had personality, music was great also you can tell she walks the walk! She’s a knowledgeable trainer and highly skilled. She’s not only “textbook knowledgeable” she knows how to lead a room full of adults with confidence and clarity. I will def be going back to her! The only thing about TM is that I wish it had more diversity — it’s so weird, obviously seems like they want to attract one type of client which is not a good look. Also, if they could turn the music down one or two clicks I would have been better able yo make out what the instructor was saying. I sweat my booty off and got a good workout.

Throughout the class, I faced some self-limiting thoughts during the more challenging workouts, but Vanessa’s support made all the difference. Her positive energy and encouragement kept me motivated and pushed me to do my best. After the class, she even said goodbye with a warm smile, which left me feeling great about the whole experience. The only downside is that their only cardio machine is the cycling; they say their treadmill isn’t the traditional type, I agree, would consider they have zero treadmill for runners. I appreciated the workout on the screens and it was a welcoming environment. I had trouble with the parking lot, would recc avoiding— this is where the staff thrived— the gym person (Latino, I think his name is Josh) was very nice and kind to help me out with being stuck in the lot.
