I’ve been doing lagree classes at mdr for over a year, but I still need a bit of explanation when it comes to the moves- today’s class lacked that and I kept having to stand up and look across the room at other people in the class. That said, I like that Nicole switched up the moves a bit from what I’m used to. I’ll be sore tomorrow!

Instructor was awesome and very helpful, but the class was much harder than any I’ve taken at the studio before - almost too hard to really get a workout because I felt I needed to stop so often. Still, great sweat sesh! I just need to get stronger

About this studio

The Studio (MDR) offers an unparalleled, intense full body workout. They workout on a machine called a Megaformer and the workout itself is based on the Lagree Method. It effectively combines Strength, Endurance, Cardio, Balance, Core and Flexibility training in each and every move with little to no impact on the joints! And each segment of the workout is based on an extremely slow 4-count movement, eliminating the fast-paced and frenzied movements of so many other workouts. To ensure client safety, all new clients to The Studio (MDR), even those with prior Pilates experience, MUST arrive at least 15 minutes early for a thorough walk-though of the Megaformer. New clients who do not arrive 15 minutes prior will be asked to leave and considered a missed class.

How to prepare

Wear comfortable clothes--you will sweat! Grippy socks are required. If you don't own a pair, you can purchase them at the front desk. First time clients at (MDR) must arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes early for a walk-through of the Megaformer. Even those with prior Pilates experience need to arrive at least 15 minutes early or you will not be allowed to join the class. New clients who arrive late will be asked to leave and considered a missed class. The Studio (MDR) allows clients to take a maximum of one class per day.

How to get there

There is free tandem parking located on the ground floor of the Latitude 33 building parking garage, which can be entered by making your first right off of Via Dolce and then parking in any spot labeled “RETAIL”. You can also find metered parking outside on Washington or park on side streets.
