Despite this being ran over in full and also the screens on the wall, I had to switch stations twice in the first 60 seconds because someone would rather take photos for Instagram than listen to where they’re supposed to be going. Nothing to do with this specific class but I don't understand why 1R is now encouraging members to create reels. I really don't want phones to be used in classes or even worse, in the changing rooms. As your responses have noted, Dog House is a ‘little local studio’ the new prices don’t reflect that. They’re reflective of big city centre, chain studios, and you’ve now priced out a lot of your regulars which is a real shame.

see all reviewsThis was a very intense class - not for beginners but it is the most calories I’ve ever burned in spin! Really good energy and the instructor took the time to go over the bike for me as it was my first time there. Important to note that they do not have cleats and you also have to take your own padlock (or buy from reception) for the lockers (this is made very clear on the description but I can see other people have complained they didn’t know). The gym itself is nice, at reception I was told to just go downstairs and it is quite a confusing layout so make sure to go there early to look around. The showers are nice but there was a bit of mould on the shelf which was a shame. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided along with towels (get from reception), but no face wash or other toiletries that other gyms provide. Plenty of space in the locker room.
