    Ilana is such a gem and an incredible spin instructor! She heard me tell the front desk that it was my first time at Prime cycle, and she immediately introduced herself and gave me a wonderful tour of Prime Cycle's beautiful facility! After I had gotten ready and headed into the spin studio, she spent a few minutes helping me get set up on the bike and explained what the monitor at the front of the bike is used for. If you're in the JC/Hoboken/NYC area, you NEED to try Prime cycle! I can't await to come back every time I visit the East Coast 🤍

    Ashley is an awesome seasoned teacher! Friendly and knowledgeable. I’m newish to barre after an injury and she was great with form cues and options. Nice front desk staff/owner who helped me with my socks purchase. Pretty studio too but the sun was blaring on me mid-afternoon. No one’s fault, I’ll just have to wear SPF to class.     Phew! What a workout! I usually find barre classes a bit boring since they all follow the same format, and to be fair, Physique 57 does too. But what it does differently is the intensity and frequency of changes in positions so you’re getting a good workout but not dying either. Would recommend!

    This class was 5-10x harder than all other teachers. I’ve taken pure barre since 2016. I have had the “shakes” in months or years. I come 2-3x week with a variety of teachers but first time with Matty. He used unique movies but also classic poses. There’s something to be said about doing moves for longer to create the shakes which I haven’t seen teachers do in a long time. I was actually sore from this class.

    Narissa was a great instructor and super funny. She was very involved and always adjusting us to make sure we had proper form so we wouldn’t injure ourselves, which I very much appreciated. She did count a lot though, and perhaps this is just my personal preference, but I’m not a huge fan when instructors overcount because then I focus more on the reps than the workout. I just prefer cues into the next set. Other than that, she was great and encouraging and I love how she incorporated a lot of cardio into the workout!

I was working with multiple injuries, and she was the only instructor who seemed like she actually understood the impact of those injuries and how to help me accommodate. Which is sadly quite rare.     Excellent class. Clean and well equipped studio. Barre is perfect for low impact strengthening. I didn’t produce a droplet of sweat yet I am sore all over. Excellent core, glute, and hip strengthening sets. Cassie is upbeat in an authentic way. She actually went around asking if anyone has injuries which other studios don’t always do. This studio has restored my faith in group workout classes.

    I really enjoyed the time spent here on Sunday morning. It's getting more difficult to find studios that offer this style practice with the traditional 26 poses. It was an intimate setting with about 5 or 6 of us taking the class. Great feedback on alignment and thoughtful advice on how to achieve specific poses. My only wish was that the room was hotter rather than warm, but other than that I will return!

    I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.
