see all reviewsNice clean studio, energetic and helpful teacher. I like how the music isn’t blasted so loud that you can’t hear instructor like some places. Class was challenging but still doable for a beginner. As a complete beginner (to working out in general) i wasn’t quite able to do everything i had to take breaks but tried my best and instructor also gave options for modifications if it was too hard. If you’re new to barre it’s basically a lot of pulsing movements on the lower body/legs/thighs and strengthening core, alignment and flexibility. You sometimes use ballerina poses on the bar and do pulsing movements in legs which is super hard and you feel the intense burn. It incorporates pilates and yoga moves so it’s definitely a hard workout, but in a good way! I definitely recommend to check it out!

I learned that Pilates originated in Korea, which is why this studio has all the Pilates equipment, unlike others that only have the Reformer machine. There were only two people today, but she still kept the class going. She’s so awesome and kind. Since I’m very new to Pilates, I know I might be doing some movements incorrectly, but Jooyoung pays close attention and is so patient with us. My body was shaking a lot, and I could feel the strain on each muscle—and I love that kind of pain! I know my body has always been naturally weaker than others, so I have to work harder. Thank you, Jooyoung, for your patience and for taking such good care of us. You must give this place a try.
