So for beginners who are still struggling with form, it's better to take a slow paced and more detailed class.

Tried various other classes in other studios( where some instructors don’t even bother to acknowledge the presence of newbies and just enjoy having fun with the few familiar faces they know) ,and she is one of the few rare instructors who appreciates newbies in her class, taking time to explain what barre is, and what to expect in her class. And really explain all the propers forms for each exercise we were doing. Made me feel really welcomed in her class, and also, despite it’s my first time officially doing barre , i do not feel intimidated. Highly recommend her classes for everyone, even if you don’t enjoy the workout itself, you will still enjoy Eva’s vibe ( at least i did).

see all reviewsI'm a beginner and I've been to several pole studios in Metro Manila and so far, my experience with Teacher Pixy is the best, because she breaks down how to properly execute not just every pole technique but also the conditioning exercises (compared to my experience with other instructors where they perform the move and I follow so I tend to just wing the move and hope for the best). I also like how she is particular with the smallest movement which adds grace to my own trick. I just wish the studio adds airconditioning (there are fans though).

(Sam also reminds the class that if you're new to rebounding, you have the option to just follow either the hand or leg movements).
