She was so kind and had great energy but she just needs a bit more confidence! It was somewhat confusing when she would say “well you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to” during the workouts so I couldn’t keep track of reps. Liked the mix of yoga in it!

I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

Loved this class! I had never done anything aerial before, but everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. Even though it was my first class, I still got to do several cool moves. And I suspect my arms will be just the right amount of sore tomorrow.

Sub teacher tonight- class was 6 stations-2 exercises at each, doing each exercise at the station twice (45 seconds on 15 seconds break) followed by a transition workout (planks, skaters, squat jumps) to the next station. Music wasn’t great and no warm up or cool down but it was a great and effective workout.

Beautiful studio. The dance rooms are wallpapered. Boutique hotel vibes. No mirrors took some getting used to but Patricia made it work. Very good at communicating technique and feel of the moves.

    The Saturday Class

A great cardio and strength class. Every 2 weeks you learn a new little dance choreography that is sure to get your heart rate up and leave you breathing heavily. There is also always an arm, leg/butt and ab strength section. This week we had resistant bands. Sarah has amazing energy!

    *Beginner Tango - Tango Basics

The class is paced well and the music is beautiful. Carina & Mitchell were both super helpful in explaining the steps (this was my first tango class ever) but empowered me to feel super comfortable and keep trying if I made mistakes. Many of the people seem to be regulars. You learn the basic steps and practice throughout the class by rotating partners. Wear short heels and regular clothes.
