see all reviewsI said it before, and I’ll say it again I really like body alive and most of the instructors are great. I do wish BA woukd either bring back Core Sculpt class and/or focus much more on core beyond planks. Every class seems to have at least 2-3 plank songs but only 1-2 true core.

About 75% through the class, I thought to myself, “wait, I don’t even feel like I’m working out.” Not to say it wasn’t hard or an actual work out- it was just FUN and enjoyable and I didn’t feel the way I have in the past while working out. I am definitely feeling it already. Hannah was SO wonderful as a coach, she checked in and helped me when I was less familiar with certain things. Will definitely be back.

My friend had never done reformer Pilates before and Cherie made her feel very comfortable and gave her a successful first class. Her music was vibey and relaxed, with the workout being a good mix of challenging core/leg work and stretching. The reformers and props were clearly well maintained. Overall a really great workout especially for a Sunday morning. The studio is adorable as well. Would definitely return!

The fine balance of utilising physical strength in conjunction with breathing was just astounding. I loved how the exercises focused on every part of my body including mind (with the chanting of OM). see all reviews5:15am workout with Megan: Comprehensive work out that got me moving all parts of my body with a good pace, I feel it in my buns and shoulders with a sustained heart rate the whole time. About 40% boxing style work out, i think it kept its shape while providing variety. I had never been to this class before, or this type of work out, and I felt welcomed by class members and instructor. She took time to make sure I was keeping pace and showing modifications that I needed. For reference I currently am 30, 200lb, work out once a week and trying to incorporate more strength training, train 4 days per week with different class styles that are fun. The facility is very clean and has cubbies for personal belongings. Free parking right out front. Will be returning weekly! Recommend 10/10.

From the street, it just looks like a big empty room, and there’s no sign on the door saying where to enter or anything. Thank goodness another person showed up and I followed her. You have to take your shoes off downstairs and then walk upstairs to the studio, but again, I had no idea with it being my first time. The teacher was great, and the class was great though!
