Jimmy was the best - he put together a (very challenging) HIIT circuit style workout for ~20 people and still managed to make me feel like I had a personal trainer. He was both fun (joked around throughout class) and serious (making sure everyones form was in check). Everyone else at the gym was super welcoming as well. I really got the feeling that this is a big family here, moreso than at any other gym Ive tried on classpass. I will definitely be back... in a week or so, once Im no longer sore. If theres a specific need you have (tight/sore calves was me on Friday) shell make sure thats covered in the class (although with her covering the whole body it probably would be covered regardless of mentioning it). It was also pretty easy to pick up the TRX activities for the most part. My favorite part: her playlist was AMAZING. I honestly want to download it for my Spotify. She’s motivating without being annoying, and I’ve only had one class so far, but she was clearly a very nice person. I had trouble finding the place and almost bailed rather than entering six minutes late but I’m glad I went (and she didn’t make me feel like a jerk for quietly joining in). I’ve been tracking my BPM lately and got it higher than I’ve been able to in cycling or other cardio workouts, and this was a lot more fun. I’ll go again.
