Overall, my friend and I had an amazing massage experience. We asked to focus on our sports-related tight areas and the hot stone + deep massage really helped. Like a good sore the next day since we climb, bike, swim, dance, etc. Note that I prefer asking for pressure and I'm a fairly petite but muscular female. So as long as you communicate, especially if you have a low pain threshold, you'll be fine.
