2pm class, studio 4R, NO AC
see all reviewsThe instructor was great. I let him know upon arriving that I hadn’t done yoga in a while and he was very reassuring and not judgmental whatsoever. Overall, the space is beautiful and very spacious. There were times where I was a bit confused and had to look around the room to figure out what to do but overall the aesthetic was great along with the music. I will definitely be returning!!!

see all reviewsReally great flow and instruction by Tricia. I appreciated her calling out everyone by name and providing helpful modifications through our class. The room was very hot though and at one point, I almost felt like passing out. Just FYI for others.

see all reviewsEnjoyed the class & studio. It’s a mix of YouTube style at home workouts with light weights and bands. I would suggest for a day you want to be kind to your joints, I wasn’t leaving drenched in sweat or aching or anything. You def get a workout but it ain’t Barry’s.

see all reviewsProbably the best yoga class I’ve ever attended! And I’ve been to a lot. The vibe of this studio is real, and the instructor beyond amazing. Not much ventilation inside, so prepare to sweat!
Your East Village spiritual home for yoga & meditation, wisdom, kirtan, trainings…Some Like it Hot + Candlelit
see all reviewsKind of want to gatekeeper this place. But also would love to see it thrive. Exactly the hot yoga studio I’ve been looking for. Hot yoga that’s actually about yoga rather than a glorified gym. Vibes were right, Leah was awesome! The temperature was perfect, even with the crazy heat right now, and the studio was clean & odor free. Would love to see more classes later in the evening as well as some intermediate/advanced level classes!

see all reviewsIt is like finding hidden treasure! Dolma is an incredible teacher and she guided us with alignment mats and hands-on adjustments. I learned so much! She taught a large variety of poses that strengthened and opened the body. The studio is an intimate and clean space and a haven in busy city 🥰

IN PERSON Katonah Yoga
see all reviewsVery interesting class, the teacher was so lovely! We were only 8 people and she really helped with postured and to get the alignment right. The class felt more like a workshop, but I can’t remember the last time I stretch this much, or anyone corrected my yoga postures as much which I really loved. Very informative. I wish the class had moved faster and there was less chit chat between the students to make space for some more exercises but otherwise really great!

see all reviewsA great beyond-basics vinyasa class. Not super hot, but I think that works well with the format! (I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for anyone brand-new to yoga, as it’s fast-paced and there’s not much in the way of instruction for individual poses.)

see all reviewsThis was the most elevated group yoga experience. It was ethereal. I was not only taught yoga in creative sequences, I was taught how to love unconditionally. It is a rare and beautiful class as the teacher guided us through visualizations paired with movement, and it was marvelously both grounded and spiritual at the same time.

see all reviewsShe was so kind and had great energy but she just needs a bit more confidence! It was somewhat confusing when she would say “well you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to” during the workouts so I couldn’t keep track of reps. Liked the mix of yoga in it!
