    WeFlowHard Core

Was pretty scared cause Y7 classes are hard enough with core work already built in. This wasnt too bad. Only 45 minutes so some core work, a few sun salutations, more core work, a long sequence, a final core burst. Wasnt too hot, wasnt too hard, the instructor was good and worked with us which never usually happens in Y7. She also did a quick little massage during shavasana.

    Candlelit Slow-Flow

Liam’s demeanor is a sarcastic, humorous yogi that clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously, which had me a bit skeptical at the start. but his directions are spot on and his routine was thorough and deep with much attention to alignment and small adjustments if you were listening. Ended up loving the class and feeling centered and light.

    Power Yoga (int)

I loved this so much. I get the mixed reviews because it's a very specific type of yoga based on what yoga was like before the gym-ification of the practice. That said, just because it's not your style doesn't mean you need to give a 1 star rating. This class is Ashtanga based but is not for people looking to get a "60 minute workout." I liked that Carlos spent 2 hours on the class. If you know going into it that it will be long and challenging it makes for a better experience. This class is not for beginners. Not that you couldn't get something out of it with little experience but I think it could get frustrating because there are handstands and arm balances (although you're all at the wall in a circle, which is so nice because you use it for inversions and you can see everyone!) It is both mentally and physically challenging, you work with other students, and you come out calm and reinvigorated.

I liked the vibe of the studio because it really did seem to be open for people of all levels of yoga. The instructor, Maddie, seemed to do a good job at providing adjustments but also allowing people to personalize the vinyasa. I worked up a sweat but also found the end of class to be extremely relaxing.

This was a great class. Yes, there were only three of us there so it might not be this way with a bigger class, but the instructor was very attentive and provided adjustments. I definitely worked up a sweat but I think that a beginner would still feel welcomed going to this class.

    Basics 1hr 10min

Grazia made me feel very good in my body. Usually I hate all the movements and talking over movements. If its choreo then teach me in one take and then lets run it 7x with breath. But this was all very basic and gentle movements that we then repeated with the breath, allowing you to push where you can.

Really beautiful yoga class. What you think of in your head and what you need as a human. A devoted, knowledgeable, hands on instructor. Challenging flow. I would feel a little self conscious as a beginner. The space is small and cozy and it was very hot.

Exceeded every expectation. I generally don’t like using my credits on yoga, but this studio was clean and beautiful. Emily is a fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly instructor. I felt challenged and also got a much better understanding of body mechanics which so many instructors leave out of their practice. Felt great after class and will have to make this a more regular part of my morning routine

This is a beautifully led class! The energy in the room is amazing with Leslie. It is more of a stretch/yin style class in my opinion rather than flow, but it was exactly what I needed. It did have some flow, just not as vigorous as some of the other classes here. Would definitely come back!

    Level 1

This was the most different yoga class Ive taken but I enjoyed it. There was a lot of focus on technique, which was great if you were new or had been doing yoga for awhile. We used ropes on the walls to help us perfect poses and work on alignment, which was cool. My only complaint is that there was just one too many people in the class because when we did rope work on the wall some of us were on top of each other.

Came across "PineappleYogi" on CP and I just had to take a class!! The name is too adorable not to :p I love both the studio and the class, it's a very intimate space (just what I like, as it allows for personalized, hands-on adjustments) and the antique wooden interior/vibe really reminds me of this small cozy cabin/yoga center in a mountain I went to :)) Cues/instructions were very clear and easy to follow, flows left my body feeling so good, and the delicate-scent "massage" at the end during Savasana was a really nice touch. Thank you, Sharon! Will be back!!

The studio is on a beautiful garden level of a brownstone, in a perfectly spacious sized long room. This is my first time at a group meditation and it was eye opening, time passed by slowly and quickly at the same time as I followed Jessecca’s voice. The routine worked in harmony with acute awareness of the body and it’s surrounding, in ways through senses that I never considered. The group is friendly, warm and welcoming, they invited my friend and I to stay for the yoga session, which is very generous and sweet!
