Kylie checked in on me at each station to make sure I was understanding the exercises and has proper form. You also choose your own weights so I felt able to work at a level that felt doable for me. The class flew by and I had a great time!

But Lexie accidentally led us through a flow twice on the same side, and when someone pointed it out, Lexie seemed super embarrassed and was apologizing profusely, and it seemed to really throw off her energy. When I showed up, I was super intimidated and had instant regret for booking in 😅 But Seth was soso kind, helpful and welcoming. He helped me modify exercises I couldn’t do and without judgment offered lighter weights that suited me better. I so appreciated this and by the end of class I actually had fun and now plan on booking in again - something I never thought I’d said just an hour ago! Another girl was there too and she said she specifically asked if she could move her car bc she didn’t want to get towed and the instructor said she would let her in. She got there at 9:01. Brutal. We knocked felt bad about it but an attendee let us in. Whew. Rough way to start. Other than that the class was awesome and I’d definitely come again. Just beware there is not even a 1 minute grace period so I guess you need to be there 25-30 minutes before class to be safe at this location to find and pay for parking since they only have 9 spots and the class was super full - I’d guess 30 people. I’m not worried about Covid or social distancing but If you are youd freak lol. I still loved the class and will be back. Lastly towels are $2. Usually nicer studios don’t charge but fyi. see all reviewsPure Pilates is actually a Lagree studio so this workout is much more challenging and sweat-inducing than traditional Pilates. It’s also not the most beginner-friendly workout. This isn’t the fault of the studio—it’s the design of the Lagree method. The mega reformers have tons of options for modifications, but if you’re a beginner or have injuries, you have to speak up and advocate for yourself in this workout.
