How to prepare

Socks are required in Smart Barre classes. Not only for sanitary reasons, but to assist in the ease of some of the exercises. Non-slip exercise socks are recommended, but not required, and are available for purchase at the front desk. Workout pants, leggings or capris, a tank top or t-shirt are recommended attire. Please no midriff exposing tops.

Located in the Hulen Bend Village shopping center (Little Gym, Mardel, UPS Store) at the northwest corner of Granbury and Hulen; Right next to Mardel!

Smart Core Express with Sally
Friendly instructor, offered guidance when I wasn't sure what I was doing. I didn't realize this 30 min segment was part of an overall class. The class had already started and when the 30 min segment started I was asked to walk into the class and select a mat. I basically joined in on their current class. I expected it to be more of an express Barre class covering most Barre exercises. we spent all of our time on the mat during my segment. If you're expecting a Barre experience it may be best to take the full class. Although, I cannot speak to what may be covered as I only completed the 30 min portion that I was there, but I can say we only did floor exercises, thus the Barre exercises may have already been covered. I did feel challenged towards the end, during the first 20min I didn't really feel challenged. The instructor was great and was really good with cues and describing the movements.
