Motor Point Acupuncture at Range Of Motion Acupuncture, PLLC
About this class
Motor Point Acupuncture is a neuromuscular style of acupuncture that was developed by medical doctors. It addresses tight or short muscles as well as weak muscles. Pain and inflammation are symptoms of dysfunctional movement of joints and the body as a whole. By doing manual muscle testing we can find the muscles that are causing joint and movement dysfunction. After treatment of inhibited muscles, people usually feel improvement and relief of pain at the end of their treatment. Frequency of treatment varies based on the issue, the age of the patient, the chronicity of the issue and other factors, so they don't make treatment plans until after the first visit so they can see how the patient responds.
