About this class

These classes will teach the postures to build a dynamic series of poses for a light, strong body and a calm mind. It is our most “gymnastic” yoga style. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is an exhilarating and flowing Yoga founded by Sri Pattabhi Jois. Enjoy this flowing Yoga style to detoxify muscles and organs. Enjoy learning the fundamentals of Ashtanga then join the Ashtanga Flow classes to put it all together! As you become familiar with the sequence, the practice becomes an intense, moving meditation, building strength, balance, focus and relaxation.

How to prepare

Please wear clothes you are comfortable to move in. Layers are best. The studios are kept at room temperature (we do not teach hot yoga.) Recommended to bring your own water bottle (filtered water provided free as we are a no plastic studio). We provide yoga mats and all props you'll need (it's free) but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

How to get there

In Manly, if you are walking from Manly Wharf, you will find us on the left side of The Corso, half way along the first arcade from Whistler Street. Moustache Cafe is on the corner of the arcade. We are upstairs from Chica Bonita In Freshwater, you will find us on the main road one door down from Albert & Moore Cafe.
