POPfit Barre is our ballet fitness workout. This class will work your whole body, using techniques inspired by ballet barre to strengthen and tone every muscle. Low impact but be prepared to work hard and get your sweat on. Think: Tone, Tighten, Burn.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable activewear to workout. Trainers are necessary for Signature, Power HIIT and Dance Cardio/HIIT classes. There are changing rooms and showers with everything you need to get your sweat on and then off again! Please note towels are £1.

How to get there

POPfit Studio is located within Monohaus Building, 19 Sidworth Street, London Fields, E8 3SD. The Studio is a 2 minute walk from London Fields overground and a 5 minute walk from Bethnal Green station. Next door to Wringer and Mangle and opposite Work.Life!

Could be harder

I liked GG’s energy but did not love the class. There were too many people in the room, the same 4 or 5 songs were played repeatedly and there is no physical barre. I have been to other studios where there is not built in barre so they use free standing barre’s instead, I think they should do the same here. I feel it would be quite easy to get injured in this class. There were no checks or corrections made to posture or enough explanation on how to avoid injuring your lower back. The actual studio is nice, with friendly staff.

Great class and studio. But be aware they charge £1 to use the lockers every time!!

Barre class without a barre!!! I’m really disappointed. (They did say they are planning to add a barre to the studio.) We did barre work in the center which is really difficult to keep proper alignment if you don’t already have some technique. And then used the mirror as a barre. I would not have come to this class if I had known it wouldn’t be a proper class.

What is ClassPass?
