About this class

MOVE Power (30 degrees). 60 minute session. This is an energetic and dynamic class practiced in a Far Infrared (FIR) heated room with challenging postures that integrate a balance of strength and flexibility. MOVE Power will challenge your cardiovascular fitness as you move, breathe, stretch and sweat in a vinyasa flow sequence. This class also focuses on building and engaging your core strength together with alignment for the ultimate workout.

The teacher was really sweet but the sequence made little sense and some of the cues she gave were based on ‘old knowledge’ (ie not current understandings of anatomy) or in some cases just a little dangerous for inexperienced students in particular. Unfortunately this seems symptomatic of a few of the teachers I’ve encountered here.

How to prepare

Suitable clothing is tight-fitting exercise clothes in which you can sweat (think leggings, singlets and crop tops; shorts for the guys). Bare feet are required for all yoga classes. We provide mats, which will be set up, ready for you to walk in and choose your position. Bring your own water, or alternatively, you can purchase water from reception. Shower towels are available to rent, and shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers and straighteners are all provided.
