Dance Mixx at Jazzercise
About this class
Jazzercise, the original dance-fitness program, offers classes for all fitness levels and ages. While it is true to its dance roots, with plenty of jazz choreography, there is now kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, interval training, weights, resistance bands, and plyometric movements. Dance Mixx is the original format with about 35 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes of strength training and stretching. It is designed to be a total-body workout that can be modified in intensity and impact to the individual. The music is current, the workout is smart, safe, and effective. Wear comfortable workout clothes, supportive shoes (like cross trainers), and bring a water bottle. Bring a mat, too, if you have one, but they have some to lend. Weights and resistance bands are available.
