About this class

Our Hip Opening Vinyasa Flow class will stretch and open the hips, groins and pelvic region to decrease tightness and release energy. Hip opening poses are very beneficial to practice, especially for athletes and those who sit at a desk all day. We will begin each session with Sun Salutations then explore various asanas to create stability in the thighbones, hipbones and the sacrum. Basic knowledge of yoga is recommended.

How to prepare

Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts so that you may sign-in, orient yourself and enter class in a relaxed way. We have mats and towels which are free to borrow, though we recommend bringing your own. Wear any comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement.

How to get there

200 BENNETT ST. ATLANTA GA 30309 We are tucked away in the Bennett Street Design District. Head all the way down Bennett Street past the MOCA. Turn Left on Bratton Street before you reach The Stalls. Find us at the end of the street on your right. For security and uninterrupted classes, we lock our doors during class time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class start times to allow time for sign-in and a peaceful beginning to your practice.

I always feel so comfortable at this studio. It’s not pretentious like many other studios can be. Krishaunda was very nice. She was subbing and you could sort of tell it wasn’t her normal class but she was still great! Amazing way to start a weekend.

I enjoyed what Stevan brought to the class but it seemed to be 50% about meditation and awareness and 50% hip opening when I really wanted 75 minutes of good stretching.
