Great class but I was disappointed in the instructor after class. I have some medical devices that I need to keep with me, and the instructor was not understanding and scolded me for bringing electronics into the yoga room. Probably won’t ever go back because of that. But the yoga was good.

Good hot yoga and cute studio! The instructor takes this class with you so there’s very little guidance. It was fine since I’ve done hot yoga many times, but for a beginner this would be difficult without being talked through the poses.

The class itself is excessively hot which not necessarily helps the practice. Today, some comments from the coach made me uncomfortable. I did the class since it was half the regular credits, but there are many good yoga studios in Atlanta I don’t think I’m coming back to this one.

Great class and teacher- mary does a great job of guiding you through both physical and psychologically challenging experience. Very clear and good at explaining poses for yogis of all levels. Would definitely go again!

About this studio

BeHot is an inclusive studio where everyone is welcome. Their purpose is to provide safe and supportive space for people of all ages, shapes and sizes to gather and share their practice. They are a bikram based studio. They offer several versions of the traditional 26 posture series. They also offer a beginner's version of the series as well as vinyasa flow classes and restorative classes.

How to prepare

- Please arrive 15 min early. - Wear light, loose clothing. Bring a mat, large towel and water. (These items are for rent/sale if you need them) - Hydrate well before class. - You will enjoy a much needed break from your phone and smart watch. They can relax in the lockers while you enjoy your yoga class. - They have a fully equipped locker room- including showers for your use. - Along with your yoga mat, please bring a towel that covers your mat. If you need one, they are available to rent for $3.

How to get there

Their newly renovated studio is located at 730 Ponce de Leon Place, Atlanta, Ga 30306. The entrance is in the back of building facing the Beltline. Upon entering the building they are on the left.
