1. University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum

3. Ice Age National Scenic Trail

This scenic park traces the edge of the glacier which made up many of Wisconsin’s lakes, river valleys, rolling hills and ridges. There are a ton of ways to enjoy the 1,200-mile scenic trail including hiking, biking and camping.

4. Henry Vilas Zoo

This 28-acre public zoo is a great place for anyone to spend the day with a ton of great experiences and exhibits to explore. 

5. Olbrich Botanical Gardens

The beautiful gardens located on the edge of Lake Monona feature 16 acres of gardens, including a tropical conservatory, a rose garden and a gilded Thai pavilion.
