What is cardio kickboxing?

Cardio kickboxing is similar to regular kickboxing, but typically includes more activity between rounds. While in a regular kickboxing class you may get to rest between a round, in cardio kickboxing your instructor will call out different cardio exercises. These cardio exercises include anything from burpees to jump lunges to situps and more.

What to wear to kickboxing class

Kickboxing is a very vigorous activity that includes jumping, lunging, twisting and moving. This type of activity requires athletic gear that you feel most comfortable in. Plan on wearing a pair of athletic pants or shorts and an athletic top.
Most kickboxing classes are performed barefoot, so no need to worry about specific footwear.

How much are kickboxing classes?

Kickboxing classes typically cost between $15 and $30 for a single class, depending on your location. Purchasing a recurring membership will make the cost per class cheaper, but a monthly membership can cost upwards of $100 per month.
