Sunday Night Restorative Yoga: Re-Entry with Jessie
I was highly anticipating for this class to be a great way to end the weekend after being sick and staying home the whole time. I wanted to relax my muscles and destress instead I left the house early and no one showed up to unlock the doors or to teach class! I’m sure there must be a reason to why the teacher never came but some form of communication would have been nice to let the students know that they shouldn’t show up to class and wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes. Somewhat discouraging when I want to be supportive of the studio.

Was a little too chill for me. Was good but wanted more stretching and less meditation and adjustments

This was my first time at the studio, and I had a good experience. Katie, the instructor, was great. I appreciated that she toned down the class due to the poor air quality. The studio itself is a single room, clean, and has beautiful natural light. Mats are available for use in case you don’t have one!

The class was slow paced and basic which is just what I needed.

This is a very very light class. So make sure you set your expectation right. The instructor doesn’t do demonstrations. She does spend time to describe how each muscle should move in details but if you expect the visual lead, it is barely there. The instructor also doesn’t seem to have a predetermined plan of what workout to include. But you may like it if you like being spontaneous
