About this studio

When you step off the busy city street onto their tranquil garden path, you immediately feel that you have discovered a special place. With three bright studios housed in a comfortable Victorian, Yoga Garden SF has been offering authentic, diverse and transformative yoga practice for nearly 20 years. As much a professional training school as a yoga studio, classes at The Garden offer an instructional quality, as well as a directed practice. Classes include flow/vinyasa, alignment-focused, prenatal, ageless, meditation, yoga nidra, barre, BoxingYoga, and more.... Their lobby holds a small boutique carrying snacks, books, yoga accessories, and yoga clothing for women and men.

Power Yoga with Roy
Excellent class as always. Yoga Garden does not disappoint.
Candlelight Flow with Liz
What is the point of having a yoga instructor who asks about injuries but doesnt offer any suggestions to those who have them, who walks around the class but makes no corrections or suggestions, who offers no help or guidance? I was already frustrated by the end of the class and then the tiny straw that broke the camels back was when she gave out essential oils but only to like, one half of the room. Small and petty, I know, but after an hour of feeling ignored it was just maddening. Doubt Ill ever go back to a class from this instructor.
Yin Yoga with Ally
Relaxing and reflective class great to do at the end of a stressful day
Yoga Sculpt with Angelique
Challenging class and enthusiastic teacher! Great workout!
Vinyasa with Roy
Amazing flow class! Great music! Feel like a winner!
Aromatherapy Flow with Michelle
This is my favorite yoga class in SF! As a beginner who needs help and adjustment, Michelle is attentive, encouraging and has a good sense of humor. Instead of feeling frustrated or self-conscious I can relax and laugh at myself when I hit my limits and try again.
Vinyasa with Roy
Roy is amazing
Vinyasa with Martine
This class is a challenge but worth it. I wouldnt recommend for beginners. It is more like power yoga. Martine is wonderful and really cares about her students!
Hatha Align with Phillippe
Not much sweat but a great class!
Vinyasa with Meredith
Pretty standard yoga.
