About this studio

Xtend Barre Alfred Cove is a boutique fitness studio nestled amongst an eclectic mix of small businesses in Hulme Court. Xtend Barre is a workout based on a fusion of ballet, yoga and Pilates. You will see (and feel!) immediate results as it strengthens, tones and sculpts your body. It’s the perfect exercise for those who want to lengthen and tone - including mums, professionals and students. Our timetable suits your busy lifestyle, with multiple morning and evening classes available to leave you feeling energized. Never done ballet or Pilates before? No problem! Every class includes activities that range from beginner to advanced, with members of all ages and fitness levels. Our experienced Xtend Barre instructors are there beside you for every step, to ensure you get the best workout.

How to prepare

1. They can’t wait to meet you! 2. Arrive 10 minutes early. 3. Grip socks are required. You can bring your own or we have some for purchase. 4. Bring a sweat towel and water bottle. 5. We have lockers and restroom available for your use. 6. Entry into class is not permitted 5 minutes after the start of class. 7. Let your instructor know if you have any injuries or are pregnant. They are happy to help with modifications throughout class. 8. If you need to change your class, be sure to do so at least within the cancellation period.

How to get there

Xtend Barre Alfred Cove is nestled amongst an eclectic mix of small businesses in Hulme Court and is conveniently close to both Canning Hwy & Leach Hwy. Travelling to the Studio & Parking: There are plenty of parking bays on site designated to Xtend Barre clients in front of the studio and the studio is also easily accessible by public transport.

Amazing yin class with uplifting music to help you to relax and be in the moment
Xtend Barre with Bridget
Way too technical. I've had this instructor prior and their style focuses more toward dance rather than controlled Pilates movements. She insisted on partner work tonight during the core/abdominal portion of the class. Speed seemed to be the prevailing feature rather than technique or form and subsequently I've injured my neck. The instructor told us on a number of occasions how "cute" we all looked and it puts into question her maturity and level of professionalism. I have previous dance experience, however despite this I find this instructors classes to be challenging for all the wrong reasons. Her style would be more suited to teaching dance not xtend barre. I was ready to walk out tonight, the injury was the icing on top of an extremely disappointing class.

What is ClassPass?
