About this studio

Vita is a one-stop-shop for all things fitness. This beautiful studio offers everything from Gentle Yoga and Pilates Mat up to Power Vinyasa, Power Pilates Mat, Barre/Fluid Barre and even their signature cardio class, Trilogy. This class combines yoga, Pilates, Barre and lots of cardio. They've even got Meditation, Pre-Natal Yoga and a Candlelight Flow Yoga class Sunday evenings. Each weekday at 9:30am they offer daycare, as well as for the three morning classes on Saturdays.

How to prepare

Vita offers top of the line Manduka mats free for all customers to use. No need to bring a mat to any of their classes. For their Barre class, socks are required. They are for sale at the studio if you forget. Bathroom and changing rooms are on site, as well as cubbies for your belongings.

How to get there

Vita is three blocks away from the Rockridge Bart station at 6034 College Avenue. They are conveniently located on the corner of College Avenue and Claremont. Ample street parking is available.

I love this class, the only thing I would change for this was my first two trilogy classes were with fast paced house music which really got me into my cardio work out. This time we had throwback Mariah Carrey & funky cold Medina which was too slow for my taste, I prefer the house music because it keeps me pumped.

Add this class to your repertoire. Alexis Read is a cut above. Concise, helpful, sophisticated -- yet friendly instruction. Wish she taught more!

Tough class for a beginner, not a lot of modifications offered, but great workout!

A solid Mat workout. Enthusiasm among participants is palpable.

Great, mat workout. For those you seeking a Mat class that is tougher than reformer class and works on balance this is it. A fast pace, works on isolating which muscles are worked and enthusiastic regulars and beginners. Great atmosphere and creative I-can-do energy. I am hooked!

What is ClassPass?
