About this studio

The Studio (MDR) offers an unparalleled full-body workout. Their Pilates-inspired program is for all levels and uses the safe training technique, the Lagree Method, created by acclaimed fitness guru Sebastian Lagree. It strengthens, tightens and tones the entire body, integrating traditional lengthening and stretching techniques. To ensure client safety, all new clients to The Studio (MDR), even those with prior Pilates experience, MUST arrive at least 15 minutes early for a thorough walk-though of the Megaformer. New clients who do not arrive 15 minutes prior will be asked to leave and considered a missed class.

How to prepare

First time clients at (MDR) must arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes early for a walk-through of the Megaformer. Even those with prior Pilates experience need to arrive at least 15 minutes early or you will not be allowed to join the class. If you're coming to our studio for the first time and are late, you'll be asked to switch to another class. *Wear comfortable clothes--you will sweat! *Grippy socks are required. If you don't own a pair, you can purchase them at the front desk. *Bring a water bottle and towel. * We are cash free.

How to get there

There is plenty of free 2-hour street parking on Walgrove and Glencoe and metered parking directly outside the studio.

First time for me and Grace was amazing with hands on adjustments. It’s such an amazing class. Super tough but the instructor makes it fun and time flies by. All my muscles are shaking. It feels great!!!

She was very nice, this is NOT Pilates, extremely challenging, maybe even felt just a little dangerous? Like you could actually reeeeally hurt yourself if your form is bad, which is why I gave them 3. She didn’t correct as much as I thought she could have, and I believe that instructors should remind you to breathe the whole time, which she didn’t. But it’s nice there.

What is ClassPass?
