About this studio

HOW IT WORKS The League's signature PAC(K) Training format was custom-created by the studio owner. They've devised a format that consists of Power, Aerobics and Circuit Training in an environment that's as fun as it is challenging. WHO IT'S DESIGNED FOR Everyone! PAC(K) Training is modifiable for anyone at any level. Let the instructor know if you want more or less intensity and the movements will be modified to challenge you at your level. They have total beginners, marathon runners, folks rehabbing injuries, professional athletes, pregnant women... anyone can do it! WHAT YOU'LL GAIN An athletic-style full body workout: you'll leave challenged and sweaty! Community: this studio carries a very social vibe! Variety: new workouts are posted daily! Results: of course!

The League classes

How to prepare

The League is a warehouse gym that has two water fountains and sells bottled water and towels. You're also welcome to bring your own! They also have mats and foam rollers in the lobby if you'd like to hang and stretch before class.

How to get there

The League is situated just north of the Houston Heights on 34th Street between TC Jester and Ella Blvd. You can't miss it! You'll notice the bright orange doors that match the big orange sign. There's ample parking as well!

Good workout, but as a first time goer I was super confused the whole class and didnt feel like the instructor gave enough directions for beginners. Probably better for people who have been to this type of class before. Was happy with the hard workout I got though!

Dont waste your credits. Instructor knew we were knew and didnt care to make sure we understood what was going on. Couldnt even hear him over the music. Boring circuits you can do yourself

Were taking into account all of your feedback (thanks for sharing that helpful input!), and we will see to it that our instructors get a reminder on being more attentive for newcomers and properly managing music volume, to ensure theres no confusion.
PAC(K) Training with Dom
This is a circuit based work out. The instructor was good, but I would say that if youre a first-time student it can be very confusing to understand all the different workouts that theyre having you do and they demoed them fairly quickly. The big drawback to me was that its located in an un-air-conditioned warehouse. As you know, Houston gets extremely hot so I wouldnt recommend it if you have any type of heat sensitivity.

great workout! I wish the instructor could've been more attentive to form but I know with a big group and different stations, that can be challenging for one person to oversee. Definitely had to know a little bit about weight lifting to make sure you don't hurt yourself! Bring a towel and water because I was definitely drenched at the end of it (workout is done in the garage with just fans blowing). Also loved the energy of the crowd :)

What is ClassPass?
