About this studio
The Dailey Method® is a unique combination of ballet barre work, core conditioning, muscle strengthening, interval, yoga and orthopedic exercises. Dailey is for everybody. This challenging one-hour barre exercise class effectively strengthens, tones and lengthens the entire body. All classes are accessible yet challenging wherever you are on your fitness journey. Cuing and pacing are relatively quick but options and modifications along with hands on assistance are given regularly to enable you to be successful. Movements target engagement of every muscle group, with particular emphasis on deep abdominals throughout class. Movement is layered on after form and alignment is perfected. How to prepare
Just bring YOU! Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Preferably not too loose or baggy so teachers are able to see your alignment and form. Socks are required, and you can also purchase grip socks at the studio.
How to get there
The studio is conveniently located in the heart of the Cow Hollow/Marina. This location was the first Dailey Method studio and the first barre of its kind in SF. Founded in 2001, The Dailey Method has now expanded to nearly 70 locations worldwide. Classes maintain their deep roots in traditional and challenging barre, yet are constantly evolving and dynamic in movements and variations. The studio offers three types of class formats: Dailey Barre, Interval (faster paced) and Fusion (an hourlong combination of Barre and Interval)
