soFly Social is a community of passionate individuals united in the experience of finding internal & external strength through pole dance, aerial, and grounded movement. They aim to challenge and cultivate each person’s unique movement journey with a sense of levity; we're here to laugh, cry and hustle together.

How to prepare

Bring your bad self on over 10-15 minutes early so you can sign your waiver and get aquatinted with the space. You can also fill out the waiver online at https://www.wellnessliving.com/selfsignup/fWcRQ5H If you're a beginner pole dancer, we recommend wearing tight shorts or capris that expose the backs of the knees and a sleeveless top. You will find that exposed skin helps the body grip to the pole better! Speaking of grip, do not apply lotion before class or else it will be an unfortunate slip and slide experience for everyone.

How to get there

They are located at 2426 Webberville Rd just off of East 7th Street, super close to Kitty Cohen’s and Gourmands Pub. There is free street parking across from the studio and in the neighborhood.

Absolute Beginner Pole with Stephanie
Stephanie was such an excellent instructor! She broke down the moves and was a really positive presence throughout the whole class. It was paced perfectly, with a yoga stretch warmup, then we approached the choreography one piece at a time, culminating with performing the whole piece a few times. Perfect intro to pole, which takes a lot of upper body strength! Can’t wait to see how I feel tomorrow.

What is ClassPass?
