About this studio
We offer a variety of classes, from Ashtanga to Vinyasa, from Restorative to Yin, and on behalf of Lianne Metcalf and The SomaChi Association, are proud to present the unique SomaChi style. We also provide training in a traditional Martial Art, Silat Perisai Diri. We are open from 6.30am to 8.45pm ( Monday to Thursday), 7am to 6.30 pm ( Friday to Sunday) We are located at Level 1, 281 Smith Street (above Nando’s, close to Woolworths, next to Organic Wholefoods, and almost opposite Friends of the Earth) on the corner of Smith Street and Greeves Street. You will find our entrance via the purple door on Greeves Street – look for the Smith Street Yoga Studio signs!smithstreetyoga.com+61 0452217919

How to prepare
Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Yoga mats can be rented at their studio for $2.00
How to get there
Parking is available on Greeves St and Smith St, during business hours most of these spots are paid, however there is a dearth of free parking in Woolworths and surrounding streets, especially on weekends or after hours. Tram 86 goes right past our front door, utilising either Johnston St or Hodgson St stops, and we are a 10 minute walk from either Collingwood or Victoria Park train stations.
