About this studio

San Diego Core Fitness is a unique outdoor fitness boot camp experience designed to take you to the highest level of fitness that you are capable of attaining. We are principally an outdoor boot camp program. We choose our locations for ease of access as well as accessibility to park features that add to the diverse exercises we bring to each workout. Every boot camp is different and highly creative using body weight exercises as well as sand bags, sand balls, medicine balls, suspension training, plyo boxes, and band training, depending on the core philosophy of the particular workout. Each boot camp burns the maximum number of calories for that particular type of training in the scheduled time. We don't mess around, we are here to train.

How to prepare

It's always good to have some water with you and a towel. It is not always necessary to have a mat but every so often we run out of them so it's good to have one as a backup. If you are cleared by a medical professional to workout then come on out and give us a try. We will challenge you, make you a bit uncomfortable but we want you to come back.

How to get there

LANDMARK: Bud Kearns Memorial Swimming Pool (you can Google map this or 3350 Jacaranda Dr. to get close) INSTRUCTIONS: When you get to Bud Kearns Memorial pool it is best to park in the lot just to the East (to the left as you are looking at the pool from Texas Street). Are actual meeting spot is in the field at the intersection of Joe Schloss Way and Jacaranda Drive.

Good directions posted so easy to find outside location. Class was posted 7-8 but everyone was warming up when I got there at 6:50. Class was over around 7:30. It was challenging but not difficult. Good instructor who is knowledgeable and friendly. I would take the class again!

So much fun! I felt so good after this workout. Justin was super sweet and gave just the perfect amount of push for the workout. We did everything from running, push-ups, squats, planks and wall sits.

Location was great. class had good attendance and he had good equipment. Today's wasn't very hard...I would want more of a workout. He did say he has a variety of classes, so this might have been a mellower one.
