How to prepare

Please note that first time students must arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes prior to class start time. First time clients are not permitted into class once it starts. You must wear closed-toe full coverage socks in the studio during class; no shoes or bare feet are permitted. Grippy socks are available for purchase.

Signature II with Courtney
Courtney is an absolute force! Wish she taught more Bc that class was hands down one of the toughest Sig II classes I’ve ever taken in the 4+ years that I’ve been coming to P57. Not only was all of glutes done standing at the barre (holy burn), but she had us transition immediately into our thigh intermission set without the usual stretch inbetween sides. Endurance was her chosen theme of the day + class surely lived up to the name - challenging, energetic, muscle fatiguing + sweat inducing.
F.I.T. (Focused Interval Training) with Cecily
Love the class but stretching time is def not enough - the instructor gave like 3 seconds for each muscle group. Prob bc the class ran longer than expected.
Mat 57 with Antonietta
Antonietta is a fabulous instructor! She’s attentive to every individual in the room, great at giving corrections, and keeps a great positive energy going throughout the entire class! I think the studio itself was too hot though— please, physique 57, add fans or better ventilation and/or keep the room a cooler temperature otherwise when you’re working very hard (which is true pretty much right from the beginning of class) you’re much too hot and totally miserable! I also noticed that even though I have very fancy/pricey grippy socks, the carpet is made of some weird material where socks/feet just can’t get any real grip/traction on it during things like pike planks and relevees. I highly recommend this class; but please, Physique, cool down the room temp!

Awesome class, Lauren was so fun, and I was sore for 3 days after (that’s a good thing!)

I havent taken phyisique in about a year so def challenging. Felt Sydney was not as strong as the other teachers in the past. Her counting and rthym were off, playlist was odd (heavy bar music at times) and when we stretched she her cues were too fast that once you got inti it you had to switch sides.
