About this studio

One of the most important yogic texts on record, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, details step by step the process and benefits of yoga. Each sutra is a thread that links to the next, and the next, forming the tapestry of one's personal practice. They believe that yoga is a study that should meet every student at their beginning, whatever that may be, and that there is always a place to learn and grow when you begin at the roots of your practice. It is from this belief that their name sprung, after Sutra 1.1: "Now, the study and practice of yoga begins."

Phenomenal class! The studio is absolutely gorgeous and the flow was very different from a standard Vinyasa flow.

Got to the class at 3:01 for a 3:00 class and the door was locked. Not really sure why there isnt a 5 minute grace period.

I always feel so amazing after this class! The music keeps me motivated, the studio is beautiful and the teachers are great!

Very crowded/large class; no space for individual corrections. Quicker flow class with some deep stretching to end.

Gorgeous studio! But the strange instrument toward the end was very distracting. The studio in general seems much more spiritual, which works for some, just not for me. I also wonder about sliding on those blankets during practice (as comfy as they are!). This just seems totally unsafe overall, but its a cute concept. I also didnt break a sweat in this class, which was odd for it being 90 minutes. Overall, just not my style.
