How to get there

MV Fitness is a full service health club in the heart of Mount Vernon, accessible via bus, Light Rail, and FREE Charm City Circulator which has a stop within 1/2 block of the facility on Charles & Eager. There is metered parking in front of the club, a parking garage and two surface lots within one block of the club. Also, two hour free parking in residential area.

Cardio Kickboxing Group PT with Sherman
Sherman was great! And this class is semi-private, so you get individualised attention. This class was about 50/50 between cardio and boxing, so it was a great workout. Equipment is high quality, and Sherman kept us moving the whole time.

While I have enjoyed other classes at this gym, I had a few issues with this class. one, there was literally no kickboxing. we did boxing, with boxing gloves. Most cardio kickboxing classes don't use those. It would have been fine, except there was no instruction on how to punch with them, use them, anything. Which was my major complaint - there was no instruction, feedback, or suggestions beyond just a demonstration of the exercise and then the instructor counted down the time.

One of my favorite fitness instructors of all time. She pushes you to your limits but in a safe way, with great attention to form. Always a great time!

This is a really tough workout if you push yourself. The difficulty is up to you and how much you want to do. They have gloves for you to borrow, individual showers and lockers. The instructor will help you if you arent sure how to do the moves but its also a mix of conditioning and kickboxing.

Nikki was a great instructor. Very encouraging and friendly. Love the small class size and the personalized attention. Excellent strength workout.

This was not a HIIT class, it was strength training. It was a good workout, but it really messed up my body because I had planned on it being cardio.

What is ClassPass?
