About this studio

MOXIE’s intention is to offer yoga adapted for the modern lifestyle by teaching only that which is essential for a balanced physical practice in order to welcome all schools of thought. Our classes are all Power Yoga classes including our signature approach to Power Yoga which includes the MOXIE Method and MOXIE Fundamentals classes. The MOXIE Method is a form of power yoga that is physically inspired and based on modifications of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa system. What sets the MOXIE METHOD apart is the framework of fundamental postures that provides for a vigorous yet balanced practice that is scalable and evolving. Power Yoga Classes are based on the individual instructor's interpretation of an athletic yoga class. All of our classes are 55 mins designed to be efficient.

How to prepare

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that will feel comfortable to sweat in. Bring water, a towel, and a yoga mat (we have all of these if you forget). Please note: Mats are available to rent for $2, and towels are $1. Arrive early, studio doors are locked at class start time in order to protect the facility.

How to get there

Arrive early as studio doors are locked upon class start time. We are unable to make class schedule adjustments or cancellations when made through ClassPass.

Instructor not of the same caliber I’ve come to expect from this studio. Very disappointing.

Great class and teacher! But the studio has ants and it was distracting - they were crawling on my mat!

Overall good, but starting a 6:30AM class with a plank followed by 5 chaturanga pushups was a bit abrupt. Would love about 1-2 poses as warm up before that.

Instructor seemed very, very green. There was virtually no flow throughout class and her instructions felt awkward and forced. Could tell other students felt similarly.

Needed more verbal cues and also to see her. Instead she was lined up with us in the back row demonstrating so I had to twist my neck to see what was next since there were some verbal cues lacking. Also, I don’t think we did both sides evenly. Maybe this is a new teacher?

Really good workout and music. Some of Mark's dialogue ("if it's in your practice") didn't jive with me but that wouldn't stop me from going back.

Relaxing and restorative. Not very challenging, but overall worthwhile.

What is ClassPass?

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
