About this studio

Kick PT "is" group cardio kickboxing! The studio is set up to provide a gender neutral feel with loads of natural light, friendly instructors & a tidy ordered layout. With 14 per class, everyone gets their own bag. So no holding pads for someone else's work out! WARNING! These classes have no downtime, just POUND time! The bags are light, free standing & perfect for beginners whilst providing enough resistance for those who like to push harder. Class structures cater for all fitness levels & all skill levels. Go kick for kick with your neighbour, or focus on your own bag. You control your own pace. Every drill is timed & can be modified so no one gets left behind. With 30 classes a week, YOU are running out of excuses.o_O Get your kick on!

How to prepare

Clothing: NO SHOES, socks are optional Please wear clothing that will allow for a wide range of movements Sports bras and "racer" back tank tops are preferred as garments that fall off the shoulder can frustrate. All cuts of shorts are not equal! So test drive your shorts for squats and high roundhouse kicks Water bottles and sweat towels are required They provide: Hair ties Bobby pins Inner gloves Boxing gloves Chilled water & cups Tissues A welcoming gender neutral environment for all fitness levels & skill levels

How to get there

They're situated in a heritage listed church building (Chapel Fitness) opposite the iconic Astor theatre on the Saint Kilda side of Chapel st. Off-street parking is available behind the main church so keep an eye out for the sneaky horseshoe driveway entrance. Use any entrance to the building and climb the first staircase you see and you'll find them near the treadmills.

Great class. Whole class consisted of short 1-2min drills - mostly boxing combinations mixed with squats, mountain climbers, sits ups, etc. Really good workout.
