About this studio

Federal Hill Fitness is located in the heart of Federal Hill, right beside the Cross Street Market, and offers a wide range of membership, personal training, and group fitness options. Newly renovated in December 2017- come check out awesome new classes and fun functional equipment. Fresh look, fresh programming!

How to get there

If you are driving, there is a 300 space garage behind the building on West Street. The first hour is FREE. Also, there is meter parking right in front of the club. If you want to park for up to two hours free, just look for spots in the residential area around the club- all within walking distance. We are also on the Purple Circulator line!

Instructor was great. I definitely got a good workout. The garage behind the studio on West st did not offer an hour of free parking as stated on CP so was disappointed had to pay $6.

Awesome and intense
Biker Barre with Laura
Class was a really good workout, pretty tough and the instructor was very energetic and engaging! Room was really small, couldn’t fit anymore than 8-10 people. However, this is neither a spin or barre class - from a spin perspective: barely did any real spinning, just a few sprints but no climbs or additional resistance - was honestly more of an arm workout, we held the weights essentially the whole time. From a barre perspective, there weren’t any real barre movements either, and with the ones that were similar, there was not much focus on form and controlled movements which is what makes barre effective. This would be marketed better as a HIIT class - it was fast paced, and got an awesome workout, just not what I would have expected.

Laura is amazing! Great atmosphere for beginners too! I felt like I wasnt pressured to go at anyone elses pace but my own. The space is small but if the class has a small number count it works out fine. And Laura does make up for the small space. I thought it made it more intimate anyway.

What is ClassPass?
