How to prepare

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. Late students will not be admitted to class and will not receive a refund. Aerial requires a great deal of set up before starting. Students should wear clothes that they feel comfortable moving in. The swing does put some pressure on your body, so bottoms that cover your mid thigh and tops that cover your mid back and under arms are recommended. They have all of the materials that you might need--no shoes or socks required!

How to get there

Desert Air Yoga is located at 13610 North Scottsdale Road, Suite 11 in Scottsdale, AZ. Google might try to take you to the neighborhood behind the studio. Please note that we are on the southwest corner of Thunderbird and Scottsdale Road.

Aerial Yoga: Level 1 with Emily
So fun and different!! Loved it and want to go again :) instructor was so sweet and helped new learners like me
Restorative Aerial Yoga: Level 1 with Kassi
Such a fun level up from traditional restorative yoga and the instructor was very sweet and knowledgeable. Wasn’t an amazing first class because I experienced motion sickness in the final hanging pose and I felt terrible for quite some time after. Want to leave that note for future attendees
Response from the studio:
Thanks for sharing! The aerial hammock can definitely bring up feelings of motion sickness and nausea, especially if you are already prone to it. While the restorative moves are going to feel great, it might be a good idea to take savasana on the floor and take it easy on some of the inversions. Hope to see you back in!
Aerial Conditioning: Level 2 with Kassi
Dizzy
Response from the studio:
Thanks for the feedback! Aerial conditioning is definitely a challenging class! If you're not used to swinging around in the hammock it can be a lot to handle. Hope you feel better and give it another shot!
